IN LOVE WITH AYODHYA
We are a couple of people who used to explore the globe. The day we stepped our foot on Ayodhya(Saket) ground one thing was clear - we fell in love. We kept coming back every few months and understood that this is a love affair for a lifetime. We fully moved here in 2002 and been exploring the Ayodhya ever since. We’re excited to share what we’ve found and show you this beautiful corner of the world.

The heartbeat of Ayodhya is undeniably the majestic Ram Mandir, a monumental temple that has recently emerged as a symbol of national pride. The Ram Mandir ('Rama Temple') is a Hindu temple complex under construction in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. Many Hindus believe that it is located at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, the mythical birthplace of Rama, a principal deity of Hinduism.
The culmination of decades of aspirations, the temple stands as a testament to the resilience and unity of the people. Its grand architecture and intricate detailing pay homage to the legendary past, while the sheer scale of the project reflects the devotion and collective spirit of millions.
On 5 August 2020, the Bhumi Pujan (Ground Breaking Ceremony) for the commencement of the construction of Ram Mandir was performed by Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India. The temple complex, currently under construction, is being supervised by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Pilgrims and tourists alike find solace in the temple's serene ambiance, connecting with the divine energy that pervades the sacred precincts.
Nestled beside the serene Saryu River, Ayodhya resonates with the echoes of ancient mythology and the vibrancy of modern devotion. Revered as the birthplace of Lord Rama, the city weaves together historical significance and contemporary charm. The recently constructed Ram Mandir, a monumental symbol of unity, stands proudly amidst the ancient tales that echo through its streets.
From the sacred Hanuman Garhi to the enchanting ghats along the Saryu River, Ayodhya offers a tapestry of spiritual experiences. Its Diwali celebrations are legendary, bathing the city in the warm glow of lights. Cultural festivals and historical temples like Kanak Bhawan add layers to Ayodhya's allure. Amidst the culinary delights of pedas and kachoris, Ayodhya invites travelers to embark on a journey through time and spirituality, where the past and present converge in a harmonious narrative.
